Historic Day for World Deaf Rugby as extended members meets for the first time...from 10 countries with 26 people attending. The successful conference held in Sydney, Australia was set up to provide an opportunity for each country to introduce each other and discuss their country's activities in Deaf Rugby and to form a recognised committee under the banner of WDR. The conference was headed by Tony Stoyles as Chairman and Nick Marlor as Vice Chairman.
Countries invited were; Australia, Argentina, England, Fiji, *France, *Ghana,
Hong Kong, *Ireland, Italy, Japan, *Mongalia, New Zealand, *Portugal,
*Samoa, South Africa, *Tonga, *USA, Wales.
Note: *denotes in development stages.
